Commissioned by Tillberg architects from Sweden, Enterprise & Art delivered artworks in 2007 for various spaces on board the new ferry Viking Xpress.
Photos of historical sailing ships were selected for the lounge, while photo collages of Miami were framed behind epoxy for the Conference Room. A tile panel was designed by the same artist for the Kids Buffet.
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will be extending the fleet in 2024 and 2025. The next generation of superyachts, Ilma and Luminara, will offer new opportunities to experience the lifestyle of The Ritz-Carlton and the casual freedom of a yachting vacation.
With the highest ratio of space per guest at sea, each superyacht will feature 228 suites, all with private terraces, including two spacious new upper suite categories measuring up to 100 square meters.
Enterprise & Art will be curating the Art Collection on board both vessels.
Enterprise & Art was commissioned to create an impressive art program for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s first vessel Evrima and curate a permanent art collection on board for the inaugural yacht.
The specially designed yacht, measures 190 meters, can accommodate up to 298 guests and features 149 suites, each with a private deck. The onboard experience reflects the casual elegance and unparalleled level of individual guest service for which the iconic brand is recognized.
Evrima first set sail on October 15th 2022.
To celebrate the launch of Four Seasons Yachts, Enterprise & Art was asked to develop an exclusive artwork for highly valued Four Seasons guests. In a custom-designed envelope, these guests received a work by artist Jason Brooks (UK) and were introduced to the Four Seasons Yachts offering.
The ship has 95 suites and will be sailing in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. The first cruise for guests is scheduled for 25 January 2026.
After Enterprise & Art was involved in the refit of Queen Elizabeth 2 in 2000, our agency received the prestigious order from Cunard in 2001 to supply the entire art collection of the new flagship, the Queen Mary 2. Hundreds of artists from many countries made artworks especially for this ship, including Barbara Broekman (tapestry), Menno Jonker (glass), Ans Hey (sculptures), John McKenna (bronze relief) and Michael Binkley (sculptures).
Enterprise & Art was responsible for the selection of all artists, supervising the assignments, transporting the artworks to the wharf in St. Nazère in France and supervising the installation of the artworks.
Commissioned by the interior decorating company VFD from Utrecht, Enterprise & Art has contributed to the contemporary art collections of 10 ships of the Holland America Line: Rijndam III, Veendam IV, Rotterdam VI, Volendam III, Zaandam III, Amsterdam III, Prinsendam, Statendam V, Zuiderdam II and Oosterdam.
Hundreds of Dutch and foreign artists have produced custom made works for the public spaces as well as for the cabins and luxury suites on board of these ships.
Two new P&O cruise ferries that sail the Rotterdam-Europoort – Hull route, the Pride of Rotterdam and the Pride of Hull, were both fully furnished in 2001 by Enterprise & Art.
Enterprise & Art was responsible for the entire organization, from the selection of artists and guidance of their commissions to transport and installation of the artworks on board.
More than 20 Dutch and British artists produced works for these two ships. Among them Barbara Broekman, Titia Ex, Jan Hendrix and the British Tim Maguire and Matthew Radford.
