Discover Rembrandt – His Life and All His Paintings

From July 6 to September 1 2019, the exhibition Discover Rembrandt – His Life and All his Paintings took place in Amsterdam RAI, produced by Onderneming & Kunst. At the exhibition, all 350 paintings by Rembrandt could be viewed, reproduced in full size and shown in order of their origin. A must for all Rembrandt enthusiasts from home and abroad!

Using the latest techniques and the inexhaustible knowledge of Professor Ernst van de Wetering, all Rembrandt’s paintings have been digitally restored to their original state, as they once left the painter’s studio. Each period in Rembrandt’s life and work is described and brought to life by means of his paintings.

The highlight of the exhibition is the Night Watch, which has been reproduced in its original state, including the section that was cut off in 1715 to fit the new location in City Hall, now the Royal Palace on Dam Square.

Exhibition and publication on the history of the beer brand Grolsch, in which the history of brewing beer from prehistoric times to the present day was examined.

From Kandinsky to Corneille – Linoleum in the art of the 20th Century

For the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Forbo Krommenie, Enterprise & Art organized an exhibition with publication on the use of linoleum by artists from the early twentieth century. Artists like Kandinsky, Picasso and Escher used linoleum to make beautiful linocuts. Contemporary artists still use the material, now also to create objects. From concept to design, the organization was in the hands of Enterprise & Art.

Bugatti – cars, sculptures and furniture by the Bugatti family

Exhibition and publication about four famous members from the Bugatti family: grandfather Carlo Bugatti, a well-known furniture designer, father and son Ettore and Jean Bugatti, who together designed and built several famous cars, and finally Rembrandt Bugatti, celebrated sculptor. A selection of works by the whole family were exhibited together.

Patrons of Art – Meetings and Dialogues

Organized in collaboration with the Maecenas Society, as part of the Peter the Great Manifestation, 1996/1997, Patrons of Art stands as a follow-up to the earlier exposition of ING Bank and Stolichny Bank of Savings in St. Petersberg. On Dutch side, ING Group, Nederlandse Gasunie N.V. and Shell Nederland B.V. participated in this exhibition in the Pushkin Museum in Moscow. On Russian side, Stolichny Bank of Savings, LUKoil, Crosna Bank and European Trade Bank participated.

An accompanying catalog focuses on the highlights from a number of Dutch and Russian corporate collections.

Modern Art from Russia and the Netherlands

An exhibition organized by Enterprise & Art in the context of the Peter the Great Manifestation, at the request of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in collaboration with the Dutch consulate in St. Petersburg and the embassy in Moscow.

A Russian and a Dutch bank jointly displayed parts of their collection of contemporary works of art in the Manege in St. Petersburg. A few months later, a more extensive sequel would take place on this exhibition in Moscow.

An accompanying catalog was published by Enterprise & Art, featuring work by Karel Willink, Piet Sebens and Matthijs Röling and many others.

Have a Nice Day! Over a 100 years of Coca-Cola history

Exhibition and publication produced in close collaboration with Coca-Cola on the history of the most famous brand on earth. With original posters, billboards and paintings by renowned designer Haddon Sundblom.

Sundblom is best known for the images of Santa Claus he created for Coca-Cola, for which he used his own portrait. 75,000 people attended the exhibition.

Citroën – 75 years of future

Commissioned by Brains Unlimited and in close collaboration with Citroën, an exhibition was organized by Enterprise & Art about the history of this quirky car brand. Including 10 famous cars, from the very first types to a futuristic model. Of course, the Traction Avant, the 2CV and the DS were not missing.

70,000 visitors enjoyed the exhibition.

NetherArt

A traveling exhibition with work by ten artists who were young and “hot” in the 1990s, including Siert Dallinga, Ab van Hanegem, Hewald Jongenelis, Rob Scholte and C.A. Wertheim. The binding element was their fascination for conceptual realism.

An accompanying publication titled ‘NetherArt: A Dutch Response to the Nineties’ highlights a selection of works that were on display during this exhibition.

Dear Sirs, portraits of Dutch business leaders

The exhibition ‘Dear Sirs’ in Slot Zeist showed many portraits of entrepreneurs and directors, from the 18th century to the end of the 20th century. With portraits of, among others, Jan Sluijters (Gerrit Heijn), Carel Willink (P.A. van Garderen, director of H. Albert de Bary & Co.) and Han van Meegeren (Prof. Ir. I.P. de Vooys, Akzo N.V.).

Art Affairs – 23 corporate collections

Enterprise & Art, then still a foundation, made a very successful start with the exhibition ” Art Affairs” in the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. For the first time, 23 companies showed part of their art collection in a public location.

Participating companies, including NMB Bank, ABN Amro bank, Randstad Uitzendbureau and the Turmac Tobacco Company, were pleasantly surprised when Her Majesty Queen Beatrix was found willing to open the exhibition.

In addition, Enterprise & Art published ‘Art Affairs – 23 corporate collections in text and image‘, discussing extensively the art collection of each company involved.
